Paper Sweeties Challenge - April 2017 Anything goes!

Welcome to the April 2017 Paper Sweeties Monthly Challenge!  Don't you just love this inspiration photo??  I was inspired by the flowers, the Spring sign and the eggs..and love all of the black and white...

I was going to use the jar, but then I heard the coffee cup die from the Keep Calm and Drink Coffee set from the March release calling me and decided I wasn't done with coffee just yet.  It's so hard to let go!

I used the  tulip shaped flowers from the Pretty Posies set and the little stems and leaves from the Hippity Hoppity Easter Wishes Sweet Cuts...

Love these sweet flowers from the Hello Spring set... the eggs from the Basket Add-On: Hoppy Easter set were perfect.

The sentiment is from Hello Spring too and those cookie dough sequins.  And aren't those background scallops cute?!

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you'll play along with us this month!  You could win a $25 gift certificate to the shop!

Now be sure to stop at all of these places because you'll find some pretty and cool stuff!

Day 8 1/2 of Coffee... Wait... What??

Welcome to Day 8 1/2 of the Spring 2017 Coffee Lovers' Blog Hop!  And today I have another project using the new release from JessicaLynnOriginal!  The adorable AKC Dogs Yorkie Yorkshire Terrier stamp set ships on Saturday and you can order it now and get $2.65 off!  Jessica is offering this instead of free shipping so everyone can take advantage of a discount regardless of where you are from!

I used Jessica's freebie limited edition coffee cup digi and I also used the  limited edition sentiment digi again 'cause I love it and it's true!  Jessica made these for the Coffee Hop and they will not be around forever so be sure and get yours while you can!  This adorable sentiment is only 75 cents!  The best part about a digi is you can print it in different sizes depending on what you want to do with it!

I just love the sweet Yorkie images on this set!   Don't you love the sweater??  And the bow?  And of course they are pink!

And this sentiment??  Love it 'cause you can use it with any dog stamp you have!  And it's only 75 cents!  And have you seen all of the dog breed stamps that Jessica offers in her shop??  You can check them out here!

And this cup.... sooo pretty!  I'm gonna use this one over and over!  Thanks so much for the freebie Jessica!

I also made a less feminine tag with the set and that adorable little pup peeking over... I'm thinking he's smooshing his face on the edge of the bed saying... are you EVER gonna get up?

Everrrrrr????  I might be starving...

And this is one of the cute sentiments that come in the set and that cute little paw stamp is a great accent or background stamp!

Yup... I know that look.  In fact chances are as you are reading this I'm having one of these looks directed right at me!

Thanks for stopping again today!  Hope to see you again soon!  But in the meantime, we're sharing projects made with this new set between now and Saturday so be sure to hop around and check out what everyone has made so far!  I think you're gonna like 'em!

Day 8 of Coffee-I Don't Want To Talk About It

So.... it's the last day of the Spring 2017 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  Sniff.  I didn't want to let this one go by without making something with the beautiful Altenew set I won during the last hop from Stamp Simply.  Love this set!  So many wonderful coffee sentiments and images!

I love that most of this coffee pot was plain and I could decorate it how I wanted.  I used a sweet flower from one of my Paper Smooches sets and added a few dots for good measure and I decided my cups would be all different colors... looks like the aftermath of a really good coffee session with friends...

So this was the perfect sentiment... wish every day could start off with this kind of aftermath...

I will have one more for you this afternoon!  Come back at around 12pm central for another one with the new JLO set... I mean... if you want... I can't make you ;)

Day 6 of Coffee-Ode to Sleep

Welcome to Day 6 of the Spring 2017 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  Today I'm sharing a project with another one of my faves, Paper Sweeties!  Debbie from Paper Sweeties is a Super Sponsor for the hop again and she's giving away some awesome prizes!  She's giving away a flash prize of a Stamp Set of your choice and also a $25 gift certificate for the main drawings!  There is also a yummy special limited edition sequin mix, Latte Coffee that you can find here!  And there is a sale going on!  I'll have more details at the end of this post.

Don't you just love these sweet lambs from the Hippity Hoppity Easter Wishes set?  I often count coffee sheep when I'm trying to sleep.  I only go to sleep because I know I get to get up and have coffee in the morning!

I built my sentiment from a couple different Paper Sweeties sentiments and embossed them in white on a banner cut with the Sweet Cuts ... I love the two different fonts!  And these sweet little flowers from Hello Spring?  They make me swoon...

And then... the cup.. this cup... and that steam... they're from the Keep Calm and Drink Coffee Sweet Cuts set just released this month.  I love that cup... I just might marry it...

Short and sweet today... late night at work.  Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you'll come back tomorrow!  I'll have another something sweet for you!

Day 5-Coffee Hop-I Cannot Lie!

Happy Day 5 of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  Today I'm playing with Paper Smooches and Craftin Desert Divas!  I'm lucky and I live very close to both of these awesome Arizona based businesses and my orders come sooo fast and sometimes even hand delivered :) !

I just LOVE this cutie dino that's included on the March TAM Stamp Set that you can get for free with a $60 order still for a few days!  And that Coffee Cup!  I really had convinced myself I didn't need another To Go Cup die and then I was looking at the awesome samples on the Paper Smooches site that are included when you're viewing each of the products and I realized that that outline on the Cozy Coffee Die cuts separately!  And it makes it so easy to paper piece my papers and now I have the pieces to make three more cups in a similar but different color scheme!  So yeah... I needed it... #amymademebuyit!

I'm also playing along with the March Challenge over at Paper Smooches, Greenery!  You should check it out... you have until tomorrow to enter!

I had also convinced myself that I didn't need this really pretty and adorable alpha set, Elegant Brush Script from Craftin Desert Divas, and then I wanted a sentiment that I didn't have and I thought about this set and took a second look and fell in love and then again when I used it for this card!  Brush lettering is so popular right now and if you don't practice enough to get good at it (um... me), then this is a fantastic substitute... I LOVE it! And I used one of the dies from one of my most used background layers for the largest scalloped rectangle from CDD, Fancy Frames and one of my MFT Scallopped rectangles for the smaller one.

So thanks for stopping by and letting my share with you some more of my favorite stuff!  And please head over to the Coffee Lover's Blog and check out all of the info to play along... you could win some awesome prizes, and you'll definitely meet some very awesome people!  So I hope to see you as I'll be visiting everyone as I usually do.... and don't think I forgot you... I'll get there eventually!

Come back tomorrow for some Paper Sweeties!

Coffee Hop Day 4-A Man Card With Flowers

Happy Day 4 of the Coffee Lovers Hop!  Today I'm using some images from DoveArt Studios (the Cacti and the Boots) and JessicaLynnOriginal (the bucket with tulips).  I'm not sure what brand the coffee cup is from... I went through all of mine and then my mom's stamps to find the right size and style of cup I wanted and this was it...lol!  And of course those pretty hearts I used for the steam are from Paper Sweeties.

If you've never played along with the Coffee Lover's Hop you should check it out here!  It's a lot of fun and there are lots of prizes and our fearless leader Amy Tsuruta is the most awesome!

I colored the bucket gray and then dry brushed some rusty paper paint over it... I mean... it's a birthday card for my brother... so it had to be rusty... you know... because of the flowers...

And the boots... yeah... boots are manly... and coffee... that can be manly... maybe not so much with little heart steam...

And then of course there are the tulips... so ... well... they're not pink anyway...

So basically it's my ode to Spring in the Garden... thanks for stopping by!  See you tomorrow?  Oh... hey... don't forget to check this out:
